The life cycle of thrips

Thrips are major in our agriculture sector, if can't control on time then they may damage the whole agriculture field, all crops may be totally collapse. So for controlling the thrips infestation we make this article, this article is very informative for farmers.

The life cycle of thrips | Thrips Attack & Control | how to control thrips #indianfarmer #khetvaarta :-

The life cycle of thrips
WATCH NOW

Thrips infestation are very massive in crops if once occurred in the field the whole crop may destroyed if not controlled on time.

How to find thrips :-

Thrips are tiny, long and slim, sap sucking.

Having wings, a pair antennae.

Occurs due to simultaneously changing in weather.

Same crop pattern for a long time.

Several crop in a same field.

Insufficient nutrient management.

host- Chilli, capsicum, tomato, brinjal mango, grapes etc.

LIFE CYCLE :-

Female thrips Lays eggs on the leaf or lower side of the leaf or in the buds or flower.

Eggs are very small can't seen by nacked eyes.

Egg life span 5 to 10 days => 1st instar larvae life span 5 to 10 days => 2nd instar life span 5 to 10 days => pre paupae => pupae => adult thrips.

Larvae of thrips sucks swaps of crop.

CONTROL :-

We use integrated pest management for best result of controlling thrips.

CULTURAL CONTROL :-

Use crop rotation.

Make field implanted for long time so that thrips can't get foods and then die.

Good and proper nutrients management is required so that no any disease harm our crops.

If possible, use mulching peppers.

Sticky traps must be placed in the crop field.

BIOLOGICAL CONTROL :-

Use of friend insects( predators and parasitoid) for pest control(thrips, aphids, mealybugs, whiteflies, etc.

Use bacteria for pest control such as Beauveria Bassiana.

CHEMICAL CONTROL :-

Use of chemicals for thrips control.

Chemical are are only used if infestation becomes very high.

Use of chemicals such as :-

  1. Acephate 95% sg
  2. Acetamiprid 20% sp
  3. Buprofezin 25% sc
  4. Carbofuran 0.3% sc
  5. Diafenthiuron 47.80% sc
  6. Diafenthiuron 50% wp
  7. Fipronil 0.5% sc
  8. Fipronil 80% wg
  9. Broflanilide 300g/l sc
  10. Broflanilide 20% sc
  11. Carbosulfan 25% ec
  12. Carbosulfan 25% ds
  13. Clothianidin 50% wdg
  14. Cyantraniliprole 10.26% od
  15. Cypermethrin 25% ec
  16. Deltamethrin 11% w/wec
  17. Dimethoate 30% ec

Spraying time :-

6 AM to 10 AM and 4 PM to 6 PM

Importance Of Silicon fertilizer In Agriculture

Benefits of silicon | beneficial effects of silicon (si) in agricultural crops :- WATCH NOW Leaf erectness :- Silicon give cell wall rigidity and Max Live erect due to this sunlight reaches all areas to the plant that make them to do more photosynthesis properly that's make more growth and higher yield.  Counteracts negative effect of high nitrogen supply :- Silicon contracts negative effect of high nitrogen supply, due to high nitrogen application there is high vegetative growth of plants and plant becomes very heavy then plant lodging occurs ( mainly in rice) and also disease and pest attack becomes high when nitrogen fertilizer ( mainly urea) are high, so silicon stops the uptake of nitrogen when there is no need in plant. Resistance to disease and pest:-  1.Produse more Lignin so that fungal infections are less.  2. Make a very thin Silicon layer into the leaf epidermal cell so that leaves become harder and pest can't sucks the SAP through injecting their mouth...

Importance of aquaphonic farming | What is aquaphonic system and its Benefits

Aquaphonic farming is very profitable and sustainable business in modern farming let's watch how this is :-  Importance of aquaphonic farming | What is aquaphonic system and its Benefits #farming #indianfarmer WATCH NOW What is Aquaphonic ? :- Aquaphonic is a system of farming of producing food with the help of aquaculture(raising fish) and hydroponics(growing plant in water) into one highly efficient symbiotic environment.  without using any chemical fertilizer the system relies on fish waste as a fertilizer for plants, the water containing fish waste goes in the plants tank, where the waste water are filtered and cleaned by the plants, and this clean water returns to the fish tank again, and the continues.  Aquaphonic vs. hydroponics:- while both Aquaphonic and hydroponic grow plants without soil, hydroponic relies on adding synthetic nutrient solution to water, but in Aquaphonic there is no requirements of uses external chemical fertilizer, the fish waste works as a na...
