What is Aquaphonic ? :-

Aquaphonic is a system of farming of producing food with the help of aquaculture(raising fish) and hydroponics(growing plant in water) into one highly efficient symbiotic environment. 

without using any chemical fertilizer the system relies on fish waste as a fertilizer for plants, the water containing fish waste goes in the plants tank, where the waste water are filtered and cleaned by the plants, and this clean water returns to the fish tank again, and the continues. 

Aquaphonic vs. hydroponics:-

while both Aquaphonic and hydroponic grow plants without soil, hydroponic relies on adding synthetic nutrient solution to water, but in Aquaphonic there is no requirements of uses external chemical fertilizer, the fish waste works as a natural fertilizer for plants making it more organic and sustainable and the system also does not produce waste water.

How Aquaphonic system works :- 

Fish produce waste in the form of ammonia through respiration and solid solid waste, in another tank(biofilter tank) beneficial bacteria, are present in the biofilter tank, convert Ammonia into nitrites and then into nitrates, a form of Nitrogen that goes into plants tank and plants can easily absorb. 

The plants take up the nitrates as nutrient which is support strong and healthy growth, the clean oxygenated water is then recirculated back to the fish tank, And the cycle is continuous.
